This database allows you to search the entire Qur’anic Arabic corpus (Dukes, 2009), which was built on the verified Arabic text of the Qur’an distributed by the Tanzil project (Zarabbi-Zadeh, 2008). The default search below is by orthographic word form using the Buckwalter transliteration with ASCII characters to represent Arabic orthography (e.g. "بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم" is "bi somi {ll~ahi {l r~aHoma`ni {l r~aHiymi", and entering any of these individual words returns all occurrences in the corpus together with info on part-of-speech, feature, lemma, root and a host of grammatical information.
